Firsts

Since we got back from Michigan we have had a lot of firsts for our family. Here are a few of them:

Brody and Daddy camping trip!




Riley took Brody camping up in the Manti Canyon. Grandpa Lee spent the night with them and Grandma Judy, Rawlin, and his boys went up during the day and hung out. They went fishing, went for a drive along Skyline Drive, made a fire, and did all sorts of camping things. Brody loved loved loved it. He has to bring it up 3 or 4 times every day to remind us how cool camping was and that he wants to do it again sometime. It was fun for me too because I didn't have to go! Afton and I got to stay home and be ladylike.


Brody started Preschool!


I have such a big boy! He loves his school so much. It is such a perfect fit for him. He goes twice a week for 2 hours. Every time we have to have such an ordeal picking out what his show and tell is going to be. Then we have to have another ordeal deciding what school bag to bring it in. Usually he picks his Spider Man lunch box for his school bag of the day. He has a Spider Man backpack. He just thinks his lunch box is cooler. At school he loves doing the 'Freeze Dance', playing in the Sandbox, and singing the 'Open, Shut Them' song.

Afton's first Seven Peaks trip!


She didn't love it much, as you can see from her face. I tried to have her sit in the shallow part of the wave pool with me and she kept lifting her feet up out of the water and giving me dirty looks for trying to get her feet wet. She will learn to love it. It's part of childhood.
